Senior Tester (Manual + Automation)

1. Job Description

As Performance Test Engineer you will be responsible for collecting functional requirements from other teams and translate these requirements to scenario script. You will execute these scenarios with heavy load and analyze the results.

Also as a member of the Performance Testing team, you will be cooperating with infrastructure, release and development team to:

- Design and develop automated performance, stability, scalability, and reliability tests

- Maintain existing scenarios

- Debug, troubleshoot, and work with team members to find and fix software/infrastructure defects

- Enhance our load testing tools (based on Jmeter/Python/Symfony2) and process

- Design and maintain the load testing environment

- Ensure that our applications are ready for events with massive traffic (mega campaign, flash sales, push on mobile app, etc.)

2. Requirement

- 2+ years experience working on performance testing and engineering of large scale web applications
- Be up to date with industry approaches to Stress, Load and Reliability testing.
- Experience on any performance testing tool (e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner, Yandex tank)
- Experience in Tomcat
- Experience in Web programming
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with monitoring & diagnostics tools (eg. New Relic, Grafana) to identify performance bottlenecks
- Responsive testing, Mobile application testing
- Basic knowledge on HTML / CSS, client/server flow
- Knowledge/ experience on the following subjects is an advantage
- Knowledge of software automation testing methodology
